Mumbai: AICC general secretary Rajiv Satav, Shiv Sena appointee pioneer Priyanka Chaturvedi and previous NCP serve Fauzia Khan on Friday recorded their designation papers for the biennial Rajya Sabha surveys from Maharashtra.
NCP president Sharad Pawar and Union pastor Ramdas Athawale, both sitting Rajya Sabha individuals, and BJP pioneer Udayanraje Bhosale, a relative of Maratha warrior ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, have just recorded their papers for the March 26 surveys.
Seven Rajya Sabha seats are falling empty in Maharashtra on April 2. Friday is the last date for documenting papers for the surveys, where individuals from the Assembly will cast a ballot.
