Expanding its Velop product family, Linksys has announced its first Tri-band AX Wi-Fi router called Velop MX5300. The Velop MX5300 comes with Wi-Fi 6 Mesh system with next-generation orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) technology which decreases latency in high-density environments to deliver high-speed Wi-Fi to multiple devices simultaneously.
The router claims to offer 3,000 square feet coverage per note and is claimed to have been designed to manage more than 50 devices sharing the same bandwidth.

Velop MX5300 is priced at Rs 49,999 on online and offline retail stores. The product is available at a special introductory price of Rs 34,999 on Amazon.
Velop MX5300 features
Velop MX5300 comes with 13 internal antennas and high-powered amplifiers and it also features MU-MIMO technology that the company says makes it ideal for streaming 4K/8K content, online gaming, social media and uninterrupted use of heavy apps. The onboard BSS technology is said to ensure interference-free signal from the nearby networks for strong and clear single reception.
It is a triple-band router and comes with two 5GHz radio and one 2.4GHz radio. Along with this, it offers one WAN port and four LAN ports. The router is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM and 512MB of flash memory.
In addition to this, the router can also be used to create a mesh network for more extensive coverage across the home. The router is also compatible with Linksys app that allows users to have better control over their network connection and easily manage them using their smartphones.
The router also offers features such as guest access, parental controls and device prioritisation aimed to help users get maximum performance and utility from their network.
